Show Notes

On this episode of “The Romantic Side of Suspense,” my guest is Dana R. Lynn, an award-winning author who believes in the power of God to touch people through stories. She met her husband at a wedding and married him 19 months later. Today, they live in rural Pennsylvania with their three teenager and enough pets to open a petting zoo. She is a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing by day and writes stories of romance and danger at night. Dana is an avid reader, loves cats and thinks chocolate should be a food group. She is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency. She enjoys engaging with readers.

Listen to the podcast for more from our interview, plus an excerpt from Plain Refuge.

“When I first started, I started writing regular romantic suspense,” Dana said. “In my third book, I started to veer off into Amish adjacent, and what that is some of your characters can be Amish or not, but it’s usually set in Amish settings or there’s some connection with Amish side characters. I’ve had heroes and heroines who were Amish, but I’ve also had cops and paramedics. It doesn’t have to be strictly Amish, but there’s an Amish element.”
