Show Notes

On this episode of “The Romantic Side of Suspense,” I’m talking with Caitlin Smith, who, after working in schools, took her passion for teaching into the fitness world as a personal trainer. She graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in education, and segued into the dental industry, where she spent time working as a mentor for new business team members. In 2017, she left her job as a practice manager of operations to pursue her career as an author. Through her books, Caitlin aims to inspire hope, provoke thought, and demonstrate the power of God’s unconditional love. When not rendezvousing with her fictional characters, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, lifting weights and flexing her creative muscles through crafting and dancing. “I have a whole lot of different interests, and the fun thing about writing is that I get to use that creativity in creating characters or inventing plots,” Caitlin says. “My vision when I was going to write full time was to wake up and write in the morning, then I’ll have lunch and I’ll want to write again in the afternoon, and I’m going to get so many books written this way. That didn’t happen.” Connect w/Caitlin Website: CaitlinMSmith.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/writercaitlin Instagram: @caitlin_m_smith Twitter: @caitsmithwriter Listen to the podcast for more from our interview, plus an excerpt from Love’s Lost Star.
